Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the final of the Harry Potter novels. J.K. Rowling wrote a total of 7. The books narrate the stories of a young magician who enters the school of wizardry and goes through the troubles and the tribulations of the evil wizard Lord Voldemort, who killed Harry’s parents in his quest to conquer the wizarding world and subjugate non magical people to his rule.
Deathly Hallows broke the sales records as the fastest selling book ever, selling more than 11 million copies in merely 24 hours of being released. The previous record was held by J.K. Rowling’s previous book, Half Blood Prince.
