Sniper One is a tale of a British Battle Group in southern Iraq. During the early months of 2004 Sgt. Dan Mills and his squad are shipped to Iraq in what is meant to be a routine peace keeping tour. Very quickly the tour turns out anything but peaceful as the OMS, part of Moqtada Al-Sadrs Mehdi army. Whilst out on their first patrol they unintentionally park outside the OMS headquarters triggering a fire fight and an introduction to hostilities. Written as if Sgt.
