I have recently read a pediatric cancer children’s book titled, Where’s My Hair? The author is Patti Block. She is from the state of Minnesota which is located in the USA. The illustrator is Swapan Debnath.

This is a very touching story about two childhood friends in which one deals with the life of pediatric cancer and its cancer treatments. The book is a great social story for those who need some words of encouragement or to use as a conversation starter.

Although the author wrote this book when her sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer, Where’s My Hair? talks about cancer as a general term. Any family that deals with any type of cancer would be able to use this social story as a resource to help a family through tough times. Not just the initial tough times, but tough times all the way through chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.

Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr is my favorite fictitious book I have ever read. It is normal love story between Seth and Aislinn until one day it becomes complicated. Seth has decided to spend his lifetime together with Aislinn but the question is, how long will that “lifetime” be if your partner is immortal. Aislinn is fairy, yes you read it right. That would definitely the biggest dilemma of the story.

The theme of the story is a romantic comedy with a little bit of drama. This mix feeling will definitely gives the reader a fancy hour of reading. You will never notice time if read this like what I have experience, I just can’t stop reading it. Reading this kind of story will practice you to maximize your imagination because it has a lot of fictional things to say that we definite see in real life.
