Ironically, her courage to move forward comes from Mick抯 nine-year-old son, and her sense of peace with Addison comes from Mick抯 grieving wife. We find her in her moments of weakness, but can easily sense how strong of a woman she is. And in the final crucial moments, we see that, like Mick, she is a truly gifted pilot.

Blackstock has created an emotional and romantic world that we enter into once more. The dramatic tension is well balanced, and keeps the reader intrigued. The ups and downs of Erin and Addison抯 fledgling relationship keep us involved and compel us to continue in the story. She has once again created realistic, credible characters that are fascinating and enjoyable. Once again, Blackstock has drawn us into her fictional world with style and finesse.
