The Cat in the Hat Quotes

This article is all about Cat in the Hat quotes. “The Cat in the Hat” is a famous children’s book title written by Dr Seuss in 1957. By that time, parents were so eager to get hold of wholesome reading materials for their kids.

The book became a recommended book for children who are beginning to read. That is because the words used in the entire story are only a few. Not much long or hard vocabulary terms were used within the text.

In fact, the original Cat in the Hat only contained 1,626 words. Among these, unique words only totaled 236, 54 of which were mentioned once and 33 words were used exactly only twice throughout the entire book.

Even the most common articles, conjunctions, adjectives and pronouns like “the”, “I”, “and” and “not” were individually used 40 times throughout the text.

Interestingly, the longest words used in the story are the words…

Chasing the Avatar by Jovan Jones

A Downward Spiral into Evil

Maya, brilliant, and successful in her academic pursuits became enmeshed in a search for truth and false enlightenment that led her to the brink of darkness. As a result of meeting with Cha Ma, a Hindu guru, the direction of Maya’s life changed directions.

In the midst of her doctoral program Maya decided to put it on hold, relinquished the lease on her Boston apartment, abandon her faith, and leave her family behind in an attempt to find truth through the study Hinduism. She traveled to South India to the ashram of Cha Ma, in the hope of finding truth and of moving to a new level of enlightenment.

Jones describes encounters with angelic beings, in a battle to influence the outcome of the lives of those experiencing spiritual warfare. She uses these illustrations to powerfully describe the impact of prayer in changing the results of these battles…

Angels & Demons by Dan Brown

Before hitting the bestseller jackpot with Robert Langdon in THE DAVINCI CODE, Dan Brown wrote ANGELS & DEMONS. It’s a similar mixture of mixing a philosophical attack on Catholic Church dogma with an exciting plot full of murder, mysterious puzzles and exciting chases.

Not many thriller authors would attempt to blend the philosophical implications of the latest physics research, a historical anti-Church organization which many conspiracies still believe controls the world, and the art and architecture of The Vatican City — all to make a quite serious point about the nature of reality and the inner truth behind both science and religion.

It’s understandable why the Church did not allow the movie version to be shot inside the Vatican, but I believe Langdon’s aim is directed at Church bureaucrats who have closed minds.

Like THE DAVINCI CODE, ANGELS & DEMONS begins with an bizarre murder in an extremely unlikely place. Although Robert Langdon…

"Now You See Me" by Rochelle Krich – Good, But Not Great

Molly Blume is a feisty crime reporter for a local Los Angeles newspaper. She also writes true crime books so when a Rabbi asks her to help find his run-away daughter, she jumps in and tries to help in spite of the bad feelings she has for the Rabbi because of something he did to her years ago. Because the daughter, Dassie, has lived all her life in the confines of the Jewish community, everyone is in a rush to rescue her before she’s hurt or worse sexually assaulted. That would ruin her life forever.

The book was slow and dragging in several sections but finally sped up and came to a satisfying conclusion. The ending was a surprise but….all the clues were there so I didn’t feel cheated. I enjoyed reading the book not only for the mystery but because Molly and her Rabbi husband and most of the characters…

Think and Grow Rich and Internet Marketing

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill tells how successful people are successful. By looking at how ‘Captains of Industry’ from the beginning of the 20th century became rich, the following method was found to be successful in every case discussed:

The method by which the desire for riches can be transmuted into actual riches consists of six steps:

Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is insufficient merely to say, “I want plenty of money”.

Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire.?”Something for nothing” is a misconception.

Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money.

Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.

Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for…
